TIJUANA INNOVADORA, A.C., located at Paseo de los Héroes 10093, Zona Urbana Río, Tijuana, Baja California, C.P. 22010, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data. In this regard, we inform you of the following:

Use of personal data

Tijuana Innovadora may collect the personal data of its representatives, associates, board members, operating and administrative staff, volunteers, suppliers, donors, and professionals, as well as the beneficiaries of its various programs and activities. This personal data will be used for the following purposes, which are necessary for the proper development of Tijuana Innovadora's activities:

  • To carry out the analysis, publication, and dissemination of transparency and best-practice reports.
  • To provide donors with proof regarding the beneficiaries who receive Tijuana Innovadora's services.

  • CURP (Unique Population Registry Code)
  • RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registry Number)

  • The name of your employer or the organization for which you work
  • Your job title within the organization and your length of service

Purposes and parties with whom we share your personal information

Your personal data is shared within and outside the country as part of Tijuana Innovadora's own operations and in order to fulfill the purposes described above; Tijuana Innovadora may share some or all of your personal data with third parties, whether domestic or foreign.

The third parties referred to in the preceding paragraph may include philanthropic organizations, such as nonprofit civil associations legally incorporated under the designation of civil association, private charitable institutions, private assistance institutions, and other similar or equivalent entities; outside professional advisors and/or other service providers acting as processors on behalf of Tijuana Innovadora; as well as government entities through which financial or in-kind support is received for the development of programs and projects carried out by Tijuana Innovadora.

Tijuana Innovadora will ensure, through the signing of agreements and/or the adoption of other binding documents, that such third parties maintain adequate administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your personal data, and that such third parties use your personal data solely for the purposes established under this Privacy Notice.

Tijuana Innovadora will under no circumstances assign, sell, or transfer your personal data to third parties; however, it may transfer your personal data in the cases provided for under the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares).

Access, rectification, cancellation, or objection regarding your personal data

As the data subject, you may exercise before Tijuana Innovadora your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection with respect to the processing of your personal data. You may also revoke, at any time, any consent you may have given that was necessary for the processing of your personal data. For reference, the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection are described below:

Right of access: through this right, you may request to be informed what type of personal data is being processed by Tijuana Innovadora, the origin of such data, and any disclosures that have been made of it.

Right of rectification: you may request that any personal data held by Tijuana Innovadora that is incorrect or incomplete be corrected or completed.

Physical requests delivered at Tijuana Innovadora's offices must bear the data subject's handwritten signature; requests sent by email do not require a handwritten signature, but must be sent from the data subject's personal email account.

Revocation of consent for the use of your personal data

At any time, you may revoke any consent you may have given to Tijuana Innovadora for the processing of your personal data. However, it is important to note that we may not be able to address your request or discontinue the use of your data immediately in every case, since we may be required, due to a previously assumed legal or tax obligation, to continue processing your personal data.
